Honey Boo Boo’s family got into a bad car accident. Here are the 5 fast facts on what we know …
1. The Accident Occurred Monday Night

TMZ reports that Honey Boo Boo, Mama June, Pumpkin, Jessica, and Sugar Bear all got into a bad car accident on Monday night. Sugar Bear was driving.
2. Everyone Was Left Injured
The entire family suffered injuries and were taken to a local hospital in McIntyre, Georgia via ambulance. TMZ writes:
Pumpkin says Sugar Bear has a contusion on his back, Mama June has back injuries, Honey Boo Boo has a headache, and Pumpkin herself has severe chest bruises.
3. The Accident Was Not Their Fault
It has been reported that Sugar Bear was making a left turn at a green light when a truck ran through a red light and right into their car. Radar Online spoke with Mama June who said:
As many of you have heard we were in a car accident last night. It was really scary for us, since it was the first time any of us had ever been in a wreck. We are definitely really sore today, but our top priority is to celebrate Pumpkin’s birthday. She turned 14 today and no matter how sore we feel we are going to go out and celebrate. As always we want to thank everyone for their support and well wishes.
4. The Family Was Not Filming at the Time
Though the family is currently filming their television show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo”, they were not filming at the time of the crash. Irregardless, the new season begins season 3 on January 16th.
5. Fans of the Show Are Upset for the Family
Clearly, Honey Boo Boo and the whole family have a strong following and many of their fans are upset to hear about the wreck.
