The stage for the press conference was adorned with headstones for each of the band’s members – Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, and Tommy Lee.

Their reasoning for ending their run together is that they want to go out on top, leaving a legend. They don’t want to keep going and end up with only one or two of the players left at the end. They have decided that there’s no going back, even signing a contract to solidify that this is their last and final tour. To boot, they’re making sure that anyone who wants to come see them can come, slashing their ticket prices to a ridiculously low level … They want to go out with dignity.

Fortunately, not all is lost just yet … Before their official retirement, the band will be going on a 60-date tour called “Motley Crue: The Final Tour” and Alice Cooper will open for them.

And, to further talk about The Final Tour, Alice Cooper stops in during the band’s live stream announcement …
