Michael Fassender may be bring his new girlfriend to the Oscars this year. Lingerie model and actress Madalina Ghenea has been spotted with the 12 Years a Slave nominee as of late.
Here’s all you need to know about the 25-year-old who is no stranger to dating actors.
1. She’s Been Linked to Fassbender Since New Year’s

E News reported that Fassbender is conveniently filming a movie in Ghenea’s home country of Romania, and the two spent time together beginning with New Year’s Eve.
It was the Facebook picture below, which she posted on January 6, that further fueled the dating rumors.
The man she is with has a red beard, sparking talk that it’s Fassbender.
The 36-year-old actor has previously dated British Olympian Louise Hazel, Zoe Kravitz and Nicole Beharie.
2. She Prefers Acting Over Modeling
On Valentine’s Day, she posted this pretty sensual video of herself on social media. Her Italian/English caption was:

Although from that video, it seems that she is content with modeling, her dream was always to become an actress.
High heels, make-up and hair styling sessions are not my cup of tea. I always dreamt of becoming an actress. My icons since I was a child were Anna Magnani and Sofia Loren.
At 14, she was discovered by an Italian designer, Gattinoni. At that young age, she left her hometown of Slatina, Romania, and came to Milan, Italy, to model.
3. Gerard Butler Was Her First True Love

In April of 2013, she told Daily Mail that Butler was her “first true love.”
She also added:
He’s a great guy who knows how to do everything and I hope he will never change in any way.
The couple met in New York while starring together in a razor commercial. In March of 2013, Butler gushed to Extra about his new girlfriend. See the clip below.
He talked about their initial meeting and how he was so smitten, he traveled from New York to Italy to visit her:
We hung out all night and didn’t even kiss … trying on my hat collection. And I said, ‘I’m coming to visit you in Milan.’ And three days later, I was at her door in Milan.
Ghenea also dated Leonardo DiCaprio in 2011.
The Daily Mail reported that after DiCaprio broke up with Blake Lively, he was spotted in Sydney with Ghenea while he was filming The Great Gatsby.
4. She Lives in Milan & Models for Peroni Beer
Although she has countless modeling gigs, she told Vogue that she doesn’t consider herself beautiful:

5. She Was on Italy’s Version of ‘Dancing With the Stars’
A trained ballerina for seven years, Ghenea was chosen to dance on television.
In 2011, Ghenea competed on the Italian equivalent of Dancing with the Stars, called Ballando Con Le Stelle.
