Chris Martin of Coldplay is set to be a guest mentor on three episodes of The Voice this season. According to Entertainment Tonight, Martin will appear on the episodes for March 31, April 1, and April 7, 2014. Apparently, Martin’s appearances will be for a new portion of the show that has never been done before. ET reports:
For the first time on the show, Martin will serve as an adviser to all four coaching teams in a newly created portion of the show called The Battles: Round Two, which replaces the former Knockout Rounds … In the new format, the remaining artists from each team — all previous winners and stolen artists — will face off by singing the same song.
