Tonight, Liza Minnelli, Lorna Luft and Joey Luft all got together to commemorate their mother’s most iconic movie, The Wizard of Oz. The three offspring of Garland got together for an epic moment in Oscars history, where singer Pink sang “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” in tribute.

Not only is this the 75th anniversary of the film, it’s an unexpected gathering of the Garland children as the three have been on rocky terms over the years. According to The Hollywood Reporter:

Garland’s three children haven’t always gotten along, but they are said to be on good terms these days and enthusiastic about this opportunity to celebrate their beloved mother in such a high-profile way.

According to the NY Daily News:

Garland — who played Dorothy Gale in the hit movie — had Oscar-winner Minnelli with her second husband, director Vincente Minnelli. Actor-singer Lorna and media-shy Joey Luft were born to Garland’s third husband, and also manager, Sid Luft.

As far as Judy Garland’s personal Oscars history, Wikipedia writes:

She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the remake of A Star Is Born and for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the 1961 film Judgment at Nuremberg. She remains the youngest recipient (at 39 years of age) of the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement in the motion picture industry.
