Eric Jonathan Hill is The Bachelorette contestant who recently passed away from a paragliding accident. It’s a tragic story and the franchise has never dealt with a contestant passing away before the show has even aired. At the beginning of the premiere episode tonight, the show had a short tribute to Hill. Host Chris Harrison says a few kind words about Hill and photos of Hill throughout his life are shown. Harrison talked about his vivacious spirit and the wonderful human being that was Eric Hill. Then it’s said that the season will be dedicated to him.
