Now that her breakup with Casper Smart is official, Jennifer Lopez might be taking up with a male model.

On Live With Kelly and Michael, J Lo confessed that David Gandy was her celebrity crush, gushing that he’s “almost perfect.”

Here’s what you need to know about the sexy Brit.

1. He Made a Sexy Music Video With J Lo

Watch the above music video for “First Love” to see Gandy getting hot and heavy with his costar J Lo.

“He’s a great guy and we had such a great time making the video….He may have been shirtless occasionally, but for the most part he had clothes on,” Lopez told Glamour.

The feeling was mutual and Gandy dished about the musical experience:

I got the call and thought it would be great fun and an experience which is a little bit different to the things that I’ve done before…The treatment included a lot of iconic fashion references and the Director, Anthony Mandler is very well respected having worked with artists like Jay-Z, Rihanna and Taylor Swift, so it was an exciting opportunity.

2. He Made a World Famous Commercial

He became internationally known after shooting this Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue commercial.

In the ad, Gandy, dressed only in white underwear, starts to undo the bikini top of supermodel Bianca Balti.

Then the director yells, “Cut!”

The first day it launched, it got 11 million internet hits.

3. He’s Competing With Beckham

Gandy is designing men’s underwear for M&S, putting him in competition with David Beckham, who works on H & M underwear.

4. He Was the Only Male to Be at London’s Olympic Closing Ceremony

In the video above, you’ll see Gandy strutting his stuff on the runaway at the London 2012 Olympics. Alongside Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss, he is the only male model present.

5. He Started a Charity

Named after the Zoolander pout, Blue Steel Appeal is a series of fashion events that raise money for the charity Comic Relief.

He told Vogue about his new charitable venture:

After working briefly with Comic Relief on the Absolutely Fabulous sketch with Kate Moss and Stella McCartney last year, I decided to launch the Blue Steel Appeal to fundraise for Red Nose Day through fashion. I hope that the fashion industry will come together, have some fun, show off their best Blue Steel looks and raise money at the same time.
