This new reality competition series is fully described in the above promo video by Marlon Wayans. The show is about “funny people” competing in every genre of comedy, making each contestant battle it out with the others.

Marlon Wayans is the hilarious and adorable host of Funniest Wins. The Wrap writes: In Living Color alum Wayans is executive producing the series, along with Rick Alvarez, Lisa Blum, JD Roth, Todd A. Nelson, Brant Pinvidic and Adam Kaloustian. Steve Harris will serve as producer.

Not only does the winner of Funniest Wins get $100,000, they also get their own show on Wayans’ new comedy network “What The Funny.”

In today’s world, the traditional stand-up comedians have to compete against Vine celebrities, YouTube sensations, and other digital stars, so it only makes sense that the same should go for this show. There are 10 contestants competing on the show and only one will take the title.

To help the show’s contestants better their craft, host Marlon Wayans is bringing on some of his celebrity comic friends to act as mentors. These celebrities include Tom Green, Jamie Kennedy, David Alan Grier, and more.
