In a very cute fashion, Cox and McDaid sent out “his and hers” tweets with matching photos. Cox’s had the caption “I’m engaged to him!” and McDaid’s had the caption “I’m engaged to her!”

You may have seen this Northern Ireland native in the popular band Snow Patrol. Check out the above music video called “Home” with McDaid front and center.

3. Cox And McDaid Were Introduced by Ed Sheeran

Music star Ed Sheeran was actually the one who introduced Cox to McDaid. Daily Mail writes:

The pair began dating last year after they were introduced by British singer and mutual friend Ed Sheeran. The couple – who have been dating for around eight months – flew from Miami to Amanyara in Turks and Caicos on June 14, and celebrated her 50th birthday the next day by spending the afternoon in a ‘secluded’ part of the beach.

Just the other day, Cox sent out a promotional tweet for buddy Ed Sheeran. It’s clear they have a great friendship.

4. The Two Recently Collaborated on a Film Together/

Recently, the couple worked together on Cox’s new film, Just Before I Go, which she directed. Cox told People:

I’ve had a lot more support from him than him just being here tonight. Snow Patrol wrote three original songs for this movie. I’m really fortunate. It’s amazing, all the musical things that he brought to it … I couldn’t be happier. It really elevates the film in so many ways.

5. Cox Divorced from David Arquette in 2003

This will be the second marriage for Courtney Cox, who was previously married to David Arquette from 1999 to 2013. The two share custody of their 10-year-old daughter, Coco.
