The legendary magic team Penn & Teller begin a whole new season of Penn & Teller: Fool Us tonight at 8:00 p.m. EST on the CW. Read on for the facts on the show, the magical duo, and why the term “bullshit” goes right along with Penn Jillette and Teller.

1. Penn & Teller: Fool Us Premieres Tonight

A whole new round of magicians try to stump Penn & Teller tonight and the CW gives a full run-down of what viewers can expect to see on the series.

On each of the nine episodes of Penn & Teller: Fool Us, aspiring magicians are invited to perform their best trick to try and fool the world-famous team of Penn & Teller. Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller in their celebrated show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The live studio audience and the TV audience watch along with Penn & Teller as they try to figure out the secrets. Penn and Teller see the trick only once and have to immediately try to work it out.

2. Teller Rarely Speaks In His Shows

Born Raymond Joseph Teller, the magician legally changed his name to just Teller. He’s a talented magician, illusionist, comedian, writer, and actor, along with his magic partner Penn. However, unlike Penn, Teller rarely speaks during their shows.

3. When You Think of Penn & Teller, Bullshit Comes to Mind

Penn & Teller have a television show called Bullshit! As for Teller’s role with the show, Wikipedia writes:

Teller is an atheist, debunker, skeptic, and a fellow of the Cato Institute (a free market libertarian think tank which also lists his performing partner Penn Jillette as a fellow), an organization featured prominently in the duo’s Showtime television series Bullshit!.

The show aired from 2003 through 2010 and was a documentary television series, which debated political topics, fads, paranormal beliefs, and misconceptions. About a year ago, Penn talked about bringing the show back.

Penn and Teller have been working together for about 40 years and have been at the Rio Hotel and Casino for 13 years. Their shows are a mix of magic, illusion, and comedy, giving audiences amazing tricks as well as a laugh.

5. Penn Took On Celebrity Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice All-Stars

Penn Jillette appeared on the Celebrity Apprentice, but made a few enemies and even trash-talked Donald Trump, along with the show, after his appearance. Upon reflection, Penn wanted to turn over a new leaf and admitted he was wrong to Trump. He then competed in Celebrity Apprentice All-Stars and made it down to the final two, proving what a wonderful business man he is.
