We figured this fantasy mix-up was going to happen sooner or later. This fall, FOX will give fans of both The Simpsons and Family Guy what they’ve always wanted – a crossover episode featuring both show’s most popular characters.
This 5-minute preview trailer was shown to fans who attended SDCC 2014. Luckily, this hilarious footage has now been made public for everyone to see. Some of the more noteworthy scenes in this sneak peak shows the Griffin family entering Springfield for the 1st time and Homer gifting Peter with a donut from the Kwik-E-Mart. You can also spot and hear some quick-witted references to FOX’s other animated shows in this clip, such as The Cleveland Show and Bob’s Burgers.
