The world lost one of the greats today as Robin Williams has died in a possible suicide. Williams left behind three children, one of who is Zachary Pym Williams, also called Zak. Read on for the facts on Zak.

1. Zachary Was the Only Child From Robin’s First Marriage
Zachary “Zak” Pym was born on April 11, 1983, is Williams’ first born as well as only child from his marriage to Valerie Velardi. Robin had an affair with Michelle Tish Carter, which resulted in her suing him, claiming he gave her Herpes Simplex. The case was settled out of court and Velardi divorced Robin in 1988.
2. Valerie Velardi Was a Co-Star of Robin’s
Valerie Velardi, Zak’s mother, acted in the movie Popeye, starring Robin Williams. The two married June 4, 1978.
3. Zak Is Tough To Find In the Media
The information on Zak, 31, is very limited, unlike his sister Zelda, who is a Hollywood actress.
4. Zachary Has Two Other Siblings
Dad Robin Williams had an affair with Zachary’s nanny Marsha and later married her while she was pregnant with Zachary’s half-sister Zelda. Marsha gave birth to Robin’s other son Cody Alan in 1991.
5. Robin Williams Has Said Zak Helped Him to Quit Doing Drugs
Zak’s brother Cody Alan Williams is an assistant director who has even been praised to the media by his proud father, but Zak has received the biggest public accolade of all. Robin Williams once said that one of the biggest reasons he first quit drugs was the birth of his son Zak.
