The second season of Chicago P.D. kicks off tonight and we’ve got all the details on the premiere as well as the rest of the season. Check out all the spoilers we could gather to get you ready for an awesome season.

– Executive Producer Matt Olmstead dishes to TV Line on some Halstead and Lindsey romance rumors:

As long as Voight is around, probably not. “[He] warned them — Halstead in particular — that he doesn’t like in-house romances. Then they saw the real-world ramification of that when Burgess and Atwater were both vying for Intelligence, and he dinged Burgess because he knew that there was that whole thing going on with Ruzek…” In other words, Lindsay and Halstead will have to avoid any hanky panky if “they want to be in this unit [and] ascend.” Having said that, Olmstead notes that “given the opportunity, I think that they would fall into a relationship fairly quickly.”

Christian Post reports some new developments on the show, writing:

Though still in complete command of the squad, Voight will find himself when the season returns “under close watch by the Internal Affairs” following the Sheldon Jim murder investigation. Marina Squerciati’s Kim Burgess will also meet her new partner, Sean Roman, to be played by Brian Geraghty and tension between the two is high from the start.

As far as additional co-stars and guests on the show:

Lindsay will pay a visit to a person whom she hasn’t seen for a long time – her mom, Bunny, which is to be played by Markie Post. Additional guest stars to appear on the show are Stella Maeve, Robert Ray Wisdom and Ian Bowen.

– Halstead tells Lindsay that he thinks Voight has more to do with Jin’s death than he’s revealed. Check out the video clip below:

– The premiere episode is titled “Call It Macaroni” and episode 2 is called “Get My Cigarettes.” Episode 1’s synopsis reads:

INTELLIGENCE IS THROWN WHEN AN UNDERCOVER JOB TURNS INTO A MANHUNT FOR TWO BROTHERS. VOIGHT IS UNDER SCRUTINY AS JIN’S MURDER INVESTIGATION TRANSPIRES.

Spoilers Guide gives the rundown on the premiere, writing:

At District, Burgess meets her new partner, Sean Roman and tension is high from the start. Soon she realizes there’s more to his story. After a long day, Lindsay pays a visit to someone she hasn’t seen in a very long time – her mom, Bunny.

– Episode 3 is called “The Weight Station” and the synopsis reads:

The bounty on Halstead’s head becomes a serious reality as an innocent bartender takes a bullet meant for him.
