In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bowman, said:

The person that Daniel really loved was Emily. He never loved anyone as much as he loved her. That was his true love and it was so fitting for him to die in her arms.

The actor, who was on the show for all its four seasons, approved of the way Daniel died.

He told the magazine, “We thought it was very important to have him be redeemed and have some sort of heroic last act for Emily. We thought that would bring the character full circle considering where he’s come from. We’d lead him right back to where he was in season 1. By having him save Emily and sacrifice himself, it was the perfect, fitting end for the character.”

The day after the episode aired, VanCamp tweeted this accolade to her boyfriend and costar:

2. There Are Lots of Pictures of Them Kissing

The paparazzi seem to catch them engaging in PDA pretty frequently.

When GQ asked her what she thought about that, she said, “I don’t really ever talk about that part of my life, but I’m also not going to stop living my life. I want to live happily. And if I love a person, I’m not going to be ashamed and hide it.”

3. She Doesn’t Talk About Him in Interviews

She told Elle Canada:

Josh and I keep it all very separate. I barely talk about him in interviews, to be honest. It’s just really funny in the moments when we’re playing these absolutely absurd things. I call him ‘wife-beater Daniel.’ It’s hard for my family to watch—it’s also hard for them to see me in that light. But we’re actors. None of that lives in any of us. Thank God!

However, the actress did dish about her readiness to have children.
She told Elle Canada, “It never seemed tangible, but my sister just had a baby—beautiful little Ivy—and my sister Alison is having a baby boy. Suddenly, it’s like that part of my life is real…I find myself dreaming about it all the time. In your late 20s, you start to realize you can’t call yourself a baby anymore.”

4. He Hung With Miley & Emily Responded

It was rumored that Bowman was dating Cyrus after they costarred in 2012’s So Undercover.

The actor denies the union, and told GQ, “Well, it definitely wasn’t a relationship. We are mates and we did a movie together. She’s a very nice girl. There’s really nothing else that can be said.”

Whether it’s true or not, the rumor doesn’t seem to sit well with Van Camp, who tweeted:

5. Josh Likes Her in Fish Guts

VanCamp knew she had found her soulmate during their fishing trip.

In an interview with Women’s Health, she explained, “I was there in my baseball cap and these crappy fishing clothes. And I remember thinking, This is when I feel 100 percent comfortable, in these dirty clothes with fish guts all over them.”
