Sarah Silverman hosts tonight’s Saturday Night Live for the first time, with Maroon 5 as the musical guest. Silverman stepped out on stage wearing a mismatched suit and tie and started talking about the end of Yom Kippur tonight. She then started talking about herself as a comedian and how SNL had to edit out pretty much all of her inappropriate jokes, leaving her nothing to say really. Silverman then decided to get to know some of the audience members. She sat on the lap of a woman named Lindsay and decided to tell her all these amazing things like how beautiful she is. Silverman then forced the girl to say a bunch of amazing things about her in return. Then, Silverman talked about how she misses being carried, like when she was a child and how she wants to invent a million-dollar app.
Once Silverman returned to the stage, she had clips from when she appeared on the show in the 90’s as a member of the audience asking questions. Silverman then had conversations with herself, answering a bunch of ridiculous questions.
