Todd Chrisley opened up to People about the difficulty of adjusting to boys dating his daughter Savannah. Savannah Chrisley is a pageant queen, so it’s no wonder that guys are lining up to take her out. Chrisley says that anyone trying to take his daughter out on a date better come inside and meet him, but his biggest concern is this:
My concern is how well did I do in raising her. I’m very confident in who she is.
2. Chrisley Filed for Bankruptcy in 2012

Chrisley, who brags about his massive spending on his show, reportedly suffers from a lot of financial strain. Daily Mail reports that:
Mr Chrisley, who rose to power in real estate, filed for bankruptcy back in 2012. While he listed more than $4.2million in assets, his debts totaled a staggering $49.4million.
Chrisley’s lawyer Robert Furr told People:
He guaranteed a real estate development loan and it failed. He was on the hook for $30 million. If he hadn’t had that happen, he would have been fine, financially.
People further reports:
Chrisley had mortgages totaling $12 million, a delinquent IRS bill for $595,227.98 and even a $4.4 million loan from his wife, Julie – who happens to be a former Miss Carolina.

3. Viewers Have Questioned His Sexuality

Chrisley has a flamboyant personality that many viewers translate as being gay. Because of this, Chrisley has spoken out many times about the fact that he is not gay, and though he doesn’t see anything wrong with being gay, it just isn’t the case. Chrisley told People:
There’s no coming out. What you see is what you get. I am what I am. Other people’s opinions of me are just not my business.
Even Teresa Terry, Chrisley’s ex-wife and the mother of Lindsie and Kyle, says she can see why people would think he’s gay. However, this was the least of her worries when she was married to him. Daily Mail reports that:
In court documents seen by MailOnline, Chrisley is accused of waging a ‘campaign of mental and physical abuse,’ of ‘battering’ his ex-wife multiple times, once with ‘his closed fist’ after stripping her naked. In a string of allegations, all hotly contested by Chrisley, it is claimed that he wielded a knife and threatened to kill her and that, on one occasion, she witnessed him beating his own mother.

5. Chrisley Kicked His Son Kyle Out of Their Family Home

Kyle, Chrisley’s 23-year-old son, was ordered to leave their family home by Mr. Chrisley after he did time in rehab and had a ‘love child.’ In May 2014, however, Kyle was in more trouble than that as reports of domestic abuse surfaced. The Daily Mail reported that he was arrested on suspicion of hitting his baby mama Angela Victoria Johnson and threatening her sister with a knife. The alleged incident reportedly occurred shortly after Kyle’s daughter was born. Officers reported:
The altercation began when Johnson confronted Chrisley about his habit of staying out all night and not returning home until late in the morning. Chrisley became angry and struck Johnson in the face with an open hand. He then took her child and left the residence. Minutes later, Chrisley returned and kicked in the front door. When Johnson’s sister confronted Chrisley, he threatened her with a knife.
