Hank Baskett and wife Kendra Wilkinson’s marriage has been on the rocks since June 2014 when news of Baskett’s alleged sexual encounter with transsexual model Ava Sabrina London became public. Ava Sabrina London (born Paul) came out to the media over the summer and took a lie detector test about a reported sexual experience with Hank Baskett. The incident supposedly happened when Kendra Wilkinson and Baskett were eight months pregnant with her second child. According to London, Baskett contacted her via internet and came over to her home. The two engaged in masturbation and, since the encounter, Baskett has said he’s pay her money for her silence. Baskett allegedly paid London $500 and then $2,000 at a later date. 1. London Has Spent an Estimated $50,000 In Surgeries to Look Like a Woman
According to Radar Online and an interview with Ava Sabrina London, it’s taken about 18 surgeries and $50,000 for former fashion student “Paul” to become Ava Sabrina London. London told Radar:
I always wished I was born a girl. Everything I did to my sister, I did to myself. I did her makeup, her hair, styled her. I wished I was my sister. But I never thought I’d transition.
London was born in Modesto, California and first started undergoing hormone therapy until three years ago. A few months later, in October 2011, London got DD breast implants. Radar Online gives the rundown on the rest of her surgeries:
Then, in May 2012, London began her full facial feminization surgeries, including a brow bone contour, hairline reduction, pulling back of her eyes, and nose job number three. She also had liposuction in her abs and lower back area. And that’s not all! In 2013, the 25-year-old underwent eight sessions of silicon injections in her hips and buttocks to give her a curvier look. The YouTube video model has had a total of three feather lifts, and every six months, she gets Botox treatments in her face and Juvaderm injections in her lips – for a grand total of 18 plastic surgeries.
London has said that Baskett was fully aware that she was a man when he contacted her.
2. Audio Recordings of a Man Who Sounds Like Baskett, Trying to Cover Up an Encounter With Ava Sabrina London
Several audio recordings have been released that feature London speaking to a man who is reportedly Baskett covering up a cheating incident. The man pleads with London to not talk to the media and promises over and over again to send her money for her trouble.
3. There Were Rumors Baskett Failed a Lie Detector Test, But He Never Took It

Baskett and wife Kendra Wilkinson are cast members on the reality show Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. On the show, Kendra listened to audio tapes of London and what was supposedly her husband trying to cover up their sexual encounter. It was reported that afterwards, Baskett took a lie-detector test and failed, but an insider told E! News that this was not the case.
By far, the most intense day of filming was when Kendra heard the audio tapes of Hank and Ava [Sabrina London]. She had a total breakdown. It took a wound that had slowly been healing and tore it right open. Not long after that, the lie detector issue came up. It’s something they do on the show every season. Hank, however, was advised by his attorney not to take it. So he didn’t. He never took it.
The insider continued:
Hank was advised not to take the lie detector test because his legal team had contacted the FBI about Ava. He was advised not to talk about anything related to the investigation.
4. Baskett’s Side of the Story Has Reportedly Come Out
In an interview with In Touch, a source close to Baskett, his “side of the story” is that nothing happened behind closed doors.
“Hank says he first met Ava and a female friend [later identified as Zhora Tillett] in the parking lot of a Ralphs market — and thought they were both women,” the source close to Hank exclusively reveals to In Touch. After smoking weed in the parking lot, the trio returned to London’s apartment to smoke more. “Hank used the bathroom and when he came out, Ava and her friend were naked and kissing. That’s when Hank realized they weren’t women. He freaked out, called Kendra and left,” the source explains to In Touch.
The insider continues:
He feels that he cheated by going over there because he didn’t honor his marriage to Kendra. But nothing happened — Ava and her friend are just trying to trap [him] to get money.
Fans want to believe Baskett, but also question what the real story is, because if that’s all there was to it, wouldn’t he have just told his wife when cheating allegations went public? What was the hold up?
5. Wife Kendra Has Been on the Edge of Divorce

With all the new developments that keep coming up (audio recordings, allegations), Kendra Wilkinson hasn’t known what to do about her marriage. She doesn’t want to lose her family, but has also contemplated divorce. Kendra told E!:
I found myself in a position where it came down to literally a signature for the divorce to go through and something held me back. Something a bit more powerful pulled me away from doing that and the power I believe is my heart … I’m not making a rash decision, divorcing or staying with him. I’m trying to let things happen naturally, let things play out a little longer.
