Will Derek Hough take home the mirrorball trophy again this season with dance partner Bethany Mota on Dancing With the Stars? Hough’s shelf at home must be getting pretty weighed down with all his DWTS winnings sitting on it. Something tells me that Alfonso Ribeiro will win this year, based on his talent and the love he has from all his supportive fans. On the other hand, Bethany Mota has millions of voters on her side with a social media fanbase that blows the other contestants out of the water. Plus, she’s got DWTS fan favorite pro Derek Hough as her teacher. She definitely has a great chance of taking the win.
Mota has opened up to Access Hollywood and has said that being on the show has given her a whole new kind of confidence.
Coming from YouTube, if I ever made a mistake or messed up I’m like, ‘Oh, I can edit that out later and it’s fine because everything is pre-filmed. I really realized the first week [of DWTS], ‘Wait! If I mess up, everyone’s gonna see it and there’s nothing that I can do about it.’ So, I think it was just being in a place that was very unfamiliar for me that has given me the confidence to take on new challenges
