Brandi Glanville has a habit of getting into fights with her Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills co-stars. To bring you up to speed on the show, Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump aren’t exactly on speaking terms after a rocky hiatus from their friendship. Last week, Vanderpump showed up to Glanville’s housewarming party, which thrilled Glanville, though Vanderpump’s husband Ken Tood didn’t want much to do with Glanville at all. In the past, Ken and Glanville have been very close and playful. In fact, Ken has gone to bat for the mouthy beauty many times. Since he felt that Glanville betrayed his wife, however, he was not going to warm up to Glanville so easily. Now, Glanville and Vanderpump are trying to work things out in their friendship, though Vanderpump is less receptive to the idea. Later on in the season, we see Glanville slap Vanderpump across her face and Vanderpump has hinted that she isn’t friends with Glanville on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
As far as Glanville and new cast member Eileen Davidson go, we thought they were fine, but this week proves anything but that. When cast members Glanville, Davidson, Lisa Rinna, and Yolanda Foster are out to dinner, Glanville throws a drink on Eileen Davidson, much to the surprise of the others. Glanville doused Davidson with wine after Davidson shied away from reenacting a villainous scene from her soap opera. Glanville tells the camera that Davidson sleeps with married men, though she’s mainly talking about Davidson’s soap character. Davidson and her husband Vincent Van Patten got together when Patten was still married to his wife Betsey Russell and while Davidson was still married to her second husband. Davidson explained:
We weren’t happy in our marriages because of how we felt about each other.
As we know, Glanville’s marriage ended because her husband, actor Eddie Cibrian, was cheating on her. And so, Glanville is very sensitive when it comes to the subject of cheating, mistresses, and affairs. Perhaps this has something to do with Glanville’s outburst or maybe it was Davidson’s opinion of Glanville’s apology to Vanderpump. Davidson thought her apology could have been more sincere, stating:
Brandi ripped off a branch from an extremely old olive tree and then made Lisa V. an offer apparently she can refuse. I’m not quite sure what Brandi was hoping to accomplish. Maybe she’s showing us how not to make amends? It does seem that Lisa V. is having none of it, and who could blame her? It seems they have a long road ahead of them before they can patch up their friendship.
