Zarin is a Jewish mother who is known for being outspoken and gossipy, but has also shown that she has a good heart. She works with several charities and we've seen her work with Creaky Joints as her daughter Ally suffers from arthritis, as does her stepson Jonathan. Zarin is also well-known for her on-air feud with fellow housewife Bethenny Frankel. For a while, Zarin also had issues with housewife Ramona Singer.
