The 2015 Super Bowl game is going to be insane and not just because of the players. The entertainment is filled with big names, some of the biggest ever. To open up the event, Idina Menzel is singing The National Anthem, while John Legend is singing “America The Beautiful.” The NFL writes:

Idina Menzel will sing the National Anthem and John Legend will sing “America The Beautiful” as part of Super Bowl XLIX pregame festivities at University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona on Sunday, February 1, the NFL and NBC announced Thursday. The performances will be televised live on NBC prior to kickoff.

For New Year’s Eve, Idina Menzel received criticism for her performance in Times Square, but she shrugged it off. Perhaps her performance at the Super Bowl will change some of the viewers’ minds.

As for the big halftime show, Katy Perry will be the headliner and is set to be joined by Lenny Kravitz. The NFL reports:

Global superstar Katy Perry has invited Lenny Kravitz to join her as she headlines the Pepsi Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show on NBC at University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, it was announced Saturday during an exclusive interview with Katy on NBC’s broadcast of the AFC Divisional Playoff game featuring the Baltimore Ravens at the New England Patriots … Katy Perry joins an esteemed list of recent halftime acts that includes Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Madonna, The Who, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and U2.

Enjoy the show.
