Voting can be tough to figure out for reality competition shows sometimes, but fortunately, American Idol has five different ways you can vote for your favorite performers in 2015. Voting for the show is available on FOX NOW for iPhone, iPad, Android, and the latest Kindle Fire devices. Check out all the different ways to cast your vote and how to do each one below.
How To Vote Using “SuperVote” On Facebook
If you have a Facebook account, you can go the “SuperVote” route by visiting www.americanidol.com/vote or at the AMERICAN IDOL XIV Facebook page www.facebook.com/AmericanIdol. You can cast up to 20 votes per contestant.
How To Use Fox Now App To Vote
With a compatible Android or iOS device (tablet or handheld), you can vote via the FOX NOW App. You can download the app via the App Store or Google Play™ Store. Then you just follow the instructions within the app as it takes you step by step. The American Idol FAQs report that:
To vote via the App, you will need to sign into a valid Facebook account when prompted. If you do not already have a Facebook account, you will need to create one before being able to vote. Viewers will be able to submit up to 20 votes per contestant per valid Facebook account ID per Voting Show (this limit is combined with SuperVote™ via http://www.americanidol.com/vote).
How To Vote Via Mobile & Text
In order to vote for your favorite contestants, text the number of the contestant you want to vote for to 21523 (ie. “Text 1 to 21523”). Each contestant’s number will be said on the show after they perform, along with a recap at the end of the show. It will also be posted on their Twitter accounts, as well as the show’s Twitter account, which you can access by clicking here. One confirmation message will be sent back to you per contestant voted for. Keep in mind to text HELP for more help and text STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, END or UNSUBSCRIBE to cancel.
The terms for voting via SMS on your mobile device consist of the fact that standard message and data rates may apply, you can email customer service at email@example.com for additional help, and, according to the show, ‘only the first 20 votes per contestant per mobile phone number per voting episode that are cast from a user within a valid vote window, will be counted.’ Further details on restrictions are provided by clicking here. In order to vote, you must be located in the United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands. And, the providers who are able to participate in voting include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, Boost, Alltel, U.S. Cellular, Nextel Wireless, Virgin Mobile, Dobson, Cincinnati Bell, Cellular South, NTELOS, CellCom, Carolina West, Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular One, Centennial Communications, EKN, GCI Comms, Illinois Valley Cellular, Immix, Inland Cellular, Nex-Tech, Revol, United Wireless, and West Central Wireless.
How To Vote Via Google Search
Voting can be as easy as using Google Search if you have a Google account. Select who you want to vote for and you’re good to go. Remember, the limit is 20 votes.
How To Vote Via Telephone
If you’d like to vote the old-fashioned and easy way, just use your telephone. A toll-free number is assigned to each contestant for each voting show and that’s the number you will call to cast your vote. Just watch the show and dial. It’s that easy. Again, the voting limit is 20 votes per viewer. Click here for even more information, provided by the show.
