Ed Sheeran has been nominated for three Grammys and will be performing at this evening’s ceremony.
The British born 23-year-old has been dating a girl of Greek ancestry, Athina Andrelos, since April. They’ve been spotted on vacation and date nights together, and she’s been his muse when it comes to songwriting.
Meet the girl who has stolen his heart.
1. She Was a Tour Manager & That’s How She Met Ed
The happy couple met on the road. Sheeran explained to Seventeen, “She was the tour manager for a girl that was my opening act, and now she doesn’t work in music anymore, she works for a chef.”
There was a time when Sheeran himself was an opening act. In fact, he opened for Taylor Swift’s Red tour. The two remain close friends, and Sheeran said he already introduced Andrelos to Swift. “We went for dinner in London. She likes her.”
2. She Inspired This Song
He told Seventeen, “Thinking Out Loud,” the third [song] I played today [was inspired by her].”
These are some of the lyrics, which seem to hint at marriage.

When asked if there are wedding bells in their future, he told Yahoo Celebrity, “I’m not getting to that point. I think had my star stopped going up then yeah maybe…Being a homegrown artist and just being big in England I could have settled down a lot quicker but with the whole world of promo and touring it’s all a lot. So I don’t really see that happening anytime soon.”
3. She Works for Jamie Oliver

She works as a food team production assistant for British celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver. In an interview with Us Weekly, Sheeran gave limited information about his love’s career, saying, she “works for a food company—well not a food company, she works for a chef.”
On her Twitter profile she explains her career change, saying, “Used to manage artists, now I manage food stylists at Jamie Oliver Ltd. Chocolate 4L.”
Her boyfriend eats Oliver’s cooking as well. Andrelos posted this Instagram picture of Sheeran enjoying chocolatey desserts, with the caption, “2-dessert-sheeran. Might wanna replenish your stock @jamieoliver.”
4. She Can Sing Too
Watch the clip above to hear that she can carry a tune just like her boyfriend. When it comes to them singing for one another, Sheeran told Us Weekly that he does not sing for her. “If someone did that to you…Like legitimately, if someone sat you down like, ‘Hey baby, I’ll come play some’ you’d be a bit awkward about it, right?”
Although he doesn’t serenade her, he finds other ways to touch her heart. For her birthday, he actually rented puppies. He told GQ, “It was my girlfriend’s birthday the other day and I rented five three week old pug puppies. We were hungover the night before. We woke up at 1pm, at 2pm these puppies showed up and just fell asleep on the bed. That’s the best hangover cure.”
5. She Supported Him at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

After this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, where Sheeran performed on the runway with models sauntering around him, he spent the evening with his lady love.
The Daily Mail captured video of them out that night, and explained, “He may have been surrounded by some of the world’s most beautiful women, but Ed Sheeran only had eyes for his girlfriend…”
In fact, this awkward hug between Sheeran and his ex, Ellie Goulding, who inspired his song “Don’t,” was one of his encounters that night.
In July, Andrelos accompanied her musician beau to Ibiza, where he performed at Ibiza Rocks 9th Birthday at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel. She posted the picture below of the couple on a luxury yacht, which the Daily Mail reported costed $2,700 a night.
