The time has finally come for the finale of the 2015 season of The Bachelor and Chris Soules has chosen his fiancee. That’s right. According to Reality Steve, Soules is definitely engaged to contestant Whitney Bischoff. When interviewed after the Women Tell All special, Soules admitted that he is in love and very happy. He also revealed to E! News that though he’s engaged, the wedding planning has not begun, explaining:
We’re not really there yet. We’re working on getting there, and hoping, but not yet.
When it comes to how host Chris Harrison felt about Soules’ decision, he stated:
Look, I believe they are good together. I believe they are in love. But I also believed that when Andi [Dorfman] and Josh [Murray] got engaged, they were full-on head-over-heels in love, and I would have bet my house on them. I wanted to believe in them. And I felt the same thing about Ali [Fedotowsky] and Roberto [Martinez], and for some reason things didn’t work out, and that’s life, and we’ve all been there, and you have the best of intentions. Same thing with Chris. At the end of the show, he was in love with somebody, but what happens after that is life and now they have to deal with real world problems and real issues and that’s the messy part.
We’d like to think that it’s true love and Bischoff will live a long and happy life with her farmer. Reality Steve, on the other hand, has stated that he doesn’t believe the couple will walk down the aisle, saying:
My guess is they are doing the long distance thing until they decide if they actually do want to get married, which I don’t think will happen.
So, do you think this is the real deal for Chris Soules or will his romance fizzle out?
