1. Their Relationship ‘Isn’t Serious’
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are longtime friends who have supposedly found romance lately. A source told People:
This is not some intense romance. Jamie and Katie are friends and have been for a long time. They are two adults who are attractive and single, and so apparently conclusions will be drawn. But contrary to those conclusions, they’re not about to run off and make some serious commitment.

2. Holmes Has Purchased a Home Close to Foxx
According to People, in August, Holmes purchased a home in the Los Angeles area and it happens to be close to Jamie Foxx’s. An insider stated that Holmes is often spending time at Foxx’s nearby home and the two spend hours together.
3. This Isn’t The First Time the Two Have Been Romantically Linked

Over the last few years, there have been many rumors about Holmes dating Foxx. Gossip Cop reports that:
RadarOnline claimed Foxx and Holmes were hooking up in 2013. In Touch said it that same year. Then Us Weekly alleged there was a “secret fling.” Both OK! and Star ran bogus rumors about Foxx and Holmes last year. The National Enquirer went so far as to say Holmes had moved to California for Foxx.
Rumors first sparked when Holmes and Foxx were spotted dancing together at a charity event in the Hamptons.
4. Foxx Is a Former Co-Star of Holmes’ Ex-Husband
Jamie Foxx starred opposite Katie Holmes’ ex-husband Tom Cruise in the 2004 movie Collateral, where Foxx played a taxi driver who was trying to keep Jada Pinkett-Smith’s character safe from the hit-man played by Cruise. Holmes and Cruise divorced in 2012.
