The name of the royal baby, daughter to Kate Middleton and Prince William, has been revealed as Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. She is fourth in line to the throne and will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge. Clearly, they have honored Prince William’s mother Princess Diana in naming their child. According to CNN, the middle names pay tribute to her great grandmother, the current queen, and her paternal grandmother, Princess Diana. In addition, Charlotte is the feminine version of the name Charles, which is most likely a nod to William’s father Prince Charles.
