On tonight’s episode of Dancing With the Stars, it was a special results show and it was also a double elimination and the two contestants kicked off were … Robert Herjavec and … (Chris Soules). You can watch Herjavec’s elimination in the above video.
The show started off with an encore performance of Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy’s trio dance. After their performance, Rumer and Val were told that they are safe in the competition and going to the semi-finals. The second couple who received their results tonight were Chris Soules and pro partner Witney Carson. The show took us through their journey in the competition and then revealed that they were in jeopardy.
After a short commercial break, music artist Carly Rae Jepsen took the stage to perform her single “I Really Like You.”
Then it was a showdown between Noah Galloway and Robert Herjavec. While Galloway was announced as safe, Herjavec and his partner Kym Johnson were sent home. Later in the competition, Riker Lynch was announced as being in jeopardy and Nastia Liukin was revealed to be moving on in the competition. This meant Chris Soules and Riker Lynch were both in jeopardy.
To break things up a bit, Josh Groban took the stage to perform “Somewhere Over The Rainbow.”
After a short commercial break, it was revealed that the second contestant going home was … Chris Soules, who became very emotional as he had to bid his farewell. Have a look at Soules’ tearful goodbye in the below clip.
