Raymond & Robert Delgado

Twin brothers Raymond and Robert Delgado are a lot happier today after going through massive transformations on the show Extreme Weight Loss. With the encouragement of their sisters, Raymond and Robert wanted to shed pounds as well as emotional baggage. Growing up with a mother in prison and a father who wasn't really in the picture was very difficult, especially when Robert and Raymond stepped up to take care of their siblings. The official ABC synopsis for this episode reads: Two of the most deserving clients Chris Powell has ever had, twins Robert and Raymond (42 years old, from Monett, MO), will be featured in the Season 5 premiere. In an inspiring story of not one, but two amazing transformations on the hit show, Chris and Heidi Powell return as the transformation specialists and trainers for EWL, plus NBA greats Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Byron Scott and James Worthy will guest star in the episode ... The Season 5 premiere features twin brothers Robert and Raymond (their full bio is posted at ABC.com), who are 381 and 378 pounds, respectively. After their mother went to prison and their father skipped town, Robert and Raymond – 13 at the time – were left to raise their two pre-teen sisters, who they still look after to this day. Former high school basketball players – and huge Los Angeles Lakers fans – they will get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash, plus play 2-on-2 with Byron Scott and James Worthy at their six-month milestone.
