The couple who landed in third place was Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess.

Tonight’s finale episode was filled with killer performances from all the contestants of season 20 in addition to some big music artists. A-list performers included Jason Derulo, Fifth Harmony, Patti LaBelle, Redfoo and Sia. Some of the highlights as far as the dances tonight were Noah Galloway dancing with former amputee contestant Amy Purdy, Derek Hough and Julianne Hough dancing together to a performance by Sia, and Tom Bergeron’s announcement that former DWTS winner Alfonso Ribeiro is replacing him on America’s Funniest Home Videos.

Last night wasn’t the final challenge for the top 3 finalists. Tonight they each had to perform a routine that they came up with in the past 24 hours. Noah Galloway was the first to perform. It wasn’t as smooth as we’d like, but he scored 9’s across the board with a total of 36 points. Riker Lynch was the second contestant to perform and he was struggling a bit with exhaustion, but pulled through. The judges were dazzled by his performance and gushed over him, giving him a perfect score of 40 out of 40. Rumer Willis and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy were the final performers and their routine was fierce. It was a performance full of passion, yet sleek and elegant. Her sisters and parents were over the moon cheering for Willis. Of course Willis scored a 40 out of 40, tying with Riker Lynch. Watch Willis’ performance from tonight below.

To finish off the night before the final results were given, Patti LaBelle gave a powerful performance as clips from throughout the season were shown in back of the performers who were standing, waiting to learn their fates.
