With the highly anticipated Season 2 of HBO‘s True Detective now upon us, it’s important to get to know some of the show’s principal characters. Meet 23-year-old Adria Arjona, a relative newcomer to the entertainment industry.

1. She Plays Emily in Season 2 of ‘True Detective’

With all of the twists and turns expected for this season of True Detective, it’s hard to tell who will end up a protagonist and who will end up evil. But, what we know for right now is that Arjona plays Emily, the girlfriend of Taylor Kitsch’s character. As of now, her IMDB page indicates she will be in six of the season’s eight episodes.
2. Arjona & Co-Star Leven Rambin Will Appear GQ‘s July Issue

In the July issue of GQ, Arjona and her True Detective co-star Leven Rambin appear in some steamy photographs and partake in an entertaining interview. In it they talk nudity, the men of Season 1, and the rumored orgy scene from Season 2.
3. She’s Been a Reoccurring Character on ‘Person of Interest’

If you’re wondering where you’ve seen this half-Puerto Rican half-Guatemalan actress before, the answer is the CBS drama Person of Interest. Arjona had a brief reoccurring role as Dani Silva during the 2014-2015 season.
4. She’s the Daughter of Legendary Latin American Musician Ricardo Arjona

Adria Arjona is the daughter of Guatemalan music legend Ricardo Arjona. One of the most popular singer-songwriters in the world, Arjona has sold over 20 million records and is the winner of awards from across the globe.
5. She Will Appear in the Upcoming Michael Bay TV Movie

Adrina Arjona was also recently cast in the upcoming as-of-yet untitled miami project for TNT. The project will reportedly be a TV movie created by Michael Bay and Jerry Bruckheimer.
