Alan Cumming is the 2015 Tony Awards host, alongside fellow co-host Kristin Chenoweth. Alan Cumming is a man of many talents as a performer, from the small screen to the big screen, to the stage. He's most known on Broadway for his legendary roles in Cabaret and MacBeth. In fact, he was inducted into the Vanity Fair Hall of Fame for his work in "Cabaret". As far as the big screen, Cumming has appeared on dozens of films, entertaining audiences in Emma, Goldeneye, Spice World, Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, and Circle Of Friends. On TV, you may recognize Cumming from his stand-out role on The Good Wife. Cumming has an ability to drastically change his mannerisms, appearance and voice for his many unique roles. A fun fact about Cumming, which is mentioned on his IMDb profile page is that: [Cumming] mentioned on The Rosie O'Donnell Show (1996) that Reese's Peanut Butter Cups was one of his favorite things about the United States, after which he was so bombarded by the candy sent to him from fans that he had to stop eating them for a while. Some other facts about Cumming is that he hails from Scotland' he's a vegetarian; when he was in "Cabaret" he made soup in his dressing room every Wednesday; he's often known for his delightfully crazy fashion sense; and his dressing room for "Cabaret" was known as "Club Cumming".


Cumming has been married to Grant Shaffer since 2007, when they married at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, London. For our 5 Fast Facts on Shaffer, click here.
