According to Bachelorette guru Reality Steve, on tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette , contestants Tony Harris and Clint Arlis are out of the competition. (The actual elimination of Clint goes down next episode.) Spiritual Tony Harris, also known as “the healer” doesn’t wish to participate in a group date that involves sumo wrestling. He considers himself to be non-violent and doesn’t wish to participate in fighting. This results in a somewhat heated conversation between himself and Kaitlyn. He first eliminates himself from just the date, but later approaches star Kaitlyn Bristowe to tell her that he’s decided to leave the show. And that’s the end of Tony.
Last week, Clint Arlis got the first solo date of the season and seemed like a great guy. On tonight’s episode, however, he apparently gets a little cocky and Kaitlyn is not happy about it. In turn, Clint is sent home, but, according to ABC, he is not happy about it. The plot synopsis notes that Clint’s budding bromance with contestant JJ may have interfered with Kaitlyn’s “search for love”.
What actually goes down is that contestant Joshua goes to Kaitlyn and tells her that both JJ and Clint are jerks.
Daniel Finney and Cory Shivar are also eliminated on this episode at the very beginning. If contestant Kupah hadn’t started having a temper tantrum on the previous episode, they would have been eliminated then. Instead, Kaitlyn has to have the rose ceremony for them at the beginning of episode 3.
