On tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette, one contestant quits and another one gets to have sex with star Kaitlyn Bristowe. The official synopsis of the episode reads:
Some bachelors will be making their last stand at the Alamo, as the drama picks up in San Antonio where it left off – Ian is about to give Kaitlyn a piece of his mind – in one of the most shocking confrontations of this or any season. After a rose ceremony that leaves nine men in the chase for Kaitlyn’s heart, the remaining bachelors travel to the lush beauty of Dublin, Ireland. A picture perfect day strolling through the streets of Dublin turns into a passionate night for the Bachelorette and one of the men, but will Kaitlyn’s actions have serious consequences when it comes to the other men? A six-man group date tests the bachelors’ ability to say “good-bye” to Kaitlyn – at a fake, traditional Irish wake. The rose winner from the group date and Kaitlyn enjoy a private concert by the internationally famous Irish rock band The Cranberries. Simultaneously, one of the men has a major meltdown and reveals an explosive secret only he and Kaitlyn shared, leading to a face-off that could derail the Bachelorette’s search for love.

Ian Thomson Leaves the Show
At the end of last week’s episode, we saw the beginning of a very serious talk between Kaitlyn Bristowe and contestant Ian Thomson. Ian told her that he believes her to be more of a surface person and that he doesn’t feel she’s the one for him. The sad chat continues tonight and Ian leaves the show. Joe Bailey and JJ Lane Get a Two-On-One Date With Bristowe
There’s a chance that this two-on-one date occurs next week as this episode is jam-packed with drama, which may take priority. Southern gentleman Joe Bailey and contestant Clint Arlis’ former BFF JJ Lane get a two-on-one date with Kaitlyn Bristowe. These dates usually result in one of the contestants getting a rose, while the other is sent home. In this case, JJ was sent packing, as reported by Reality Steve.
Eliminations Come Early
Once again, eliminations have carried over into the beginning of The Bachelorette episode. After Ian Thomson leaves the show, Justin Reich and Joshua Albers are eliminated in the rose ceremony, according to Bachelorette guru Reality Steve. Tanner Tolbert and Ben Zorn are eliminated at the ending rose ceremony, but this may or may not be shown on tonight’s episode. JJ Lane is also gone after his two-on-one date.
The Group Date Involves Death
On tonight’s episode, Tanner, Ben Z., Ben H., Jared, and Chris go on the group date, which involves a wake for star Kaitlyn Bristowe. The men each have to write a eulogy for Bristowe and read it aloud. Jared wins the group date rose, which earns him a solo date with Bristowe.
Kaitlyn Bristowe Has Sex With a Contestant
Kaitlyn Bristowe gives it up to a contestant on tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette and the lucky man is reported to be Nick Viall. Nick gets the one-on-one date with Bristowe and the two visit the Christ Church Cathedral at night together. On the date, they can’t keep their hands off each other and Bristowe is said to invite Nick back to her hotel room. At some point, Bristowe reveals to the other guys that she did have sex, but there’s no telling when that occurs.
Jared Haibon Gets the Cranberries Date
According to Reality Steve, this date doesn’t go down until next week’s episode, but tonight’s official episode synopsis states that the Cranberries perform. In any event, contestant Jared Haibon gets this solo date.
