Adley Stump, Travis Garland, Stefano Langone and Felicia Barton are the performers set for tonight’s annual event – the Miss USA 2015 Pageant. Originally, Flo Rida, J Balvin, Craig Bayne Boyd and Natalie LaRose were all scheduled to perform, but they decided to drop out of the show after pageant owner Donald Trump’s controversial comments. During Trump’s presidential campaign, Trump made comments about Mexico that many were offended by and didn’t want to be associated with. Some of the negative comments Trump has been making are:
These people wreak havoc on our population … The largest suppliers of heroin, cocaine and other illicit drugs are Mexican cartels that arrange to have Mexican immigrants trying to cross the borders and smuggle in the drugs. The Border Patrol knows this. Likewise, tremendous infectious disease is pouring across the border. The United States has become a dumping ground for Mexico and, in fact, for many other parts of the world … The Mexican Government is forcing their most unwanted people into the United States. They are, in many cases, criminals, drug dealers, rapists, etc.
Adley Stump is a country artist, while Travis Garland is the former lead singer of boy band NLT. Currently, Garland is working solo in the industry. As for Langone, you may remember him from the 10th season of American Idol. Barton was also on Idol, but during its eighth season.
