After last week’s drama-filled meeting with Marua’s (Sasha Alexander) adoptive father, the dynamic duo face a brand-new challenge tonight with a case that centers on the world of internet dating.
The episode, titled “Love Taps,” focuses on the death of a college student who has a whopping 32 girlfriends at the same time after a foray into online dating. Both Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and Isles will dive head first into the web of app developers, virtual boyfriends and relationships built on lies rather than trust. Of course, it would be far too easy to simply assume that the killer is one of the 32 but on this show, nothing is ever quite what it seems. Get ready for some very real virtual intrigue.
In addition to the main case, Detective Vince Korsak (Bruce McGill) will, finally, introduce his friends and colleagues to the “new woman in his life.” And don’t forget, Marua’s father (David Ogden Stiers) is still around. Never a dull moment, huh?
