‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 21: The Male Front-Runners Out the Gate

Nick Carter, Hayes Grier, Alek Skarlatos, Carlos PenaVega, Nick Carter Dancing With The Stars, DWTS Contestants 2015

Dancing With the Stars has kicked off season 21 and there are four male celebrities who are already doing well. Here’s the breakdown of which guys came out of the gate running in the order of the best performers so far:

Nick Carter: This Backstreet Boy was the final performer of the premiere and he killed it with dance partner Sharna Burgess. His scores were right up there with Bindi Irwin, who scored three 8’s for the night. Not only did his dance moves do well, but he couldn’t stop making all the women blush. We predict he’ll make it to the finals.

Carlos PenaVega: Carlos and his wife Alexa are competing on the show against each other. Carlos is dancing with pro partner Witney Carson and these two are a force to be reckoned with. Witney is a mirrorball champion and it looks like Carlos’ rhythm and hip action might be able to help her get another trophy.

Hayes Grier: Vine star Hayes Grier may be only 15 years old, but that means he can pick up on things very quickly … particularly dance moves. He’s partnered with Emma Slater and the duo did an amazing job with a high school-themed routine. Grier just needs to work a bit on his finesse and the follow-through of his arms, but he could make it very far in the competition.

Alek Skarlatos: Alek Skarlatos is America’s hero, but he has had no dance experience. He’s paired with Lindsay Arnold and he did an excellent job, especially for someone with no training at all. The judges are confident that he will continue to improve.
