Edith Flagg is the late grandmother of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Josh Flagg. Edith was an amazing spirit who fans looked forward to seeing appear on the series and the love that Josh had for his grandma was truly one of a kind. Edith was the epitome of the American Dream and she was a spitfire of a woman, with a lot of chutzpah. Upon her passing, Josh has said that he was left quite comfortable in terms of his inheritance from her will. Even so, Josh was a great success on his own in real estate, which pleased his proud grandmother to no end. In fact, Josh often would seek out advice in his career from his grandmother, who, at one time, lived just a few floors above him in a penthouse apartment. Since her passing, Josh has had the idea to renovate the apartment and make it his own with his boyfriend Colton.
In her career, Edith was the designer and President of Edith Flagg, Inc., which was one of the largest womens’ sportswear manufacturers in California at one time. She is most known for bringing polyester to the United States. Edith was a charitable woman to organizations including Magen David Adom and the National Conference of Christians and Jews. She also volunteered at the United Jewish Welfare Fund and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Edith and her grandson Josh traveled the world together and the two seemed to be inseparable. On tonight’s episode of MDLLA, we see Josh still coping with the passing of his grandmother and best friend, a woman who he treasured and loved so much.
