Olivia Newton-John is a guest judge on tonight’s episode of Dancing With the Stars, so this could be a great thing for contestant Hayes Grier or a bad thing. Young Grier and his pro partner Emma Slater are performing a scene from the iconic movie, dancing to “You’re The One That I Want”, which was originally performed by Newton-John and John Travolta. Grier admitted he had never seen the film and didn’t even know Travolta’s famous character. Upon performing their routine, they got rave reviews from Newton-John who told Hayes he had so much poise and was so handsome. Judge Bruno Tonioli gave him a little criticism and Carrie Ann Inaba called him a stud. Their scores tonight total 8’s across the board with a 32 out of 40.
Last week, Hayes Grier was involved in a switch-up, dancing with pro Allison Holker, who acted as his “boss mama”. The two did a great job, while Slater danced with American hero contestant Alek Skarlatos. Skarlatos couldn’t help but drool over Slater and the two were encouraged to go on a date, to which Slater agreed.
For tonight’s show, in addition to a performance from Grease, viewers will get to see some Elvis moves, a scene from Dirty Dancing, and Magic Mike will even be a part of the show.
