Supergirl has great special effects, but it's truly about one woman's decision to be great and not give in to fear, according to Vox. Supergirl was originally supposed to look out for her younger cousin Clark, but she got stuck in a wormhole and arrived late. Interestingly, her father is played by Dean Cain, who played Superman in Lois & Clark. Airs Monday, Oct. 26 (8:30-9:30 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS. The series moves to its regular time period (8:00-9:00 PM) on Monday, Nov. 2. (CBS)
