‘The Originals’ Season 3: Episode 7 Spoilers

Things get dramatic as Thanksgiving rolls around in New Orleans on Thursday’s brand-new episode of The Originals. (The CW)

It’s Thanksgiving in New Orleans this week, but that doesn’t mean things are going to get any simpler on the brand-new episode of The Originals.

This week’s episode, titled “Out of the Easy,” finds Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) bringing some unexpected guests home for dinner – Lucien, Tristan and Aurora.

Of course, this won’t be a simple dinner and the Mikaelsons won’t be counting their blessings around the table. At least, not yet. In fact, fans of the hit CW drama should expect more than a little bit of intrigue with their meal on Thursday night. Check out the latest preview clip from the new episode here:

The prophecy is still set to descend upon New Orleans and Rebekah is still very much in dancer. That means her brothers are going to do whatever it takes to unravel the in-depth plans of their three dinner guests.

Elijah and Klaus are both hoping for some kind of truce that might stave of disaster for their family, but Aurora (Rebecca Breeds) is quick to respond with a threat, informing them both that she has “powerful leverage over Klaus.” Remember, these two have a serious history.

Of course, Klaus has other problems to deal with as well when it comes to romantic entanglements. He’ll still have to face the metaphorical music following his blowup fight with Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) last week.

“That and the scene where I gave birth in the finale of Season 1 were probably the two hardest days I’ve ever had on set,” Tonkin told TVLine. “When you watch those scenes, they only run for about five or six minutes, but they each took, like, 14 hours to film. It was exhausting.”

While the brothers attempt to save their family, and their city, Davina (Danielle Campbell) continues to weave a twisted web, one that she might not be able to escape from easily. The move will force Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Vincent (Yusup Gatewood) to take drastic action to patch things up.

The Originals airs at 9 p.m. ET Thursday on The CW.
