To kick things off, host Carson Daly asked some of the contestants about their coaches and what this opportunity means to them. Daly then announced the first two safe contestants of the night - Jordan Smith from Team Adam Levine and from Team Gwen Stefani, Jeffrey Austin. After a commercial break, Daly took a few minutes to chat with the judges before asking some of the other contestants about their time on the show. Finally, Daly got back into the saves. From Team Blake Shelton, Emily Ann Roberts was announced as being safe. America also saved Madi Davis from Team Pharrell Williams with their votes from yesterday's performances. Next, Blake Shelton and his team took the stage together to perform the oldie but goody "Lean On Me." Following the performance and a quick question for contestant Zach about what the competition means to him, Carson Daly announced the next set of results. The next person who was announced as safe was from Team Gwen and it was Braiden Sunshine and then Barrett Baber from Team Blake. Soon after, Amy Vachal from Team Adam was revealed as being in the top 11 as well. Following another commercial break, Pharrell Williams and his team of artists gave a short performance. Pharrell kept his shades on for the entire episode tonight. Then the remaining five artists were gathered for more results on stage. The three performers who were announced as safe were Evan McKeel from Team Pharrell, Shelby Brown from Team Adam, and Zach Seabaugh from Team Blake Shelton. This left Mark Hood and Korin Bukowski in the bottom two, having to perform for the Instant Save. Mark and Korin then gave their individual performances in hopes of earning the Instant Save from America. Mark Hood performed "Signed Sealed Delivered" while Korin sang "Don't Know Why" by Norah Jones. Both performances received praise from the judges, but it was up to America to decide their fate ... At one point, viewers were able to see the votes in real-time as they were being cast and Korin was at 55% of the votes while Mark was at 45%. So, the winner of the save was Korin Bukowski tonight, which meant goodbye for Mark Hood. Now click through our gallery to get to know a little about each one of the remaining contestants.
