Just when Billy was beginning to turn his life around, he gave in to the temptation of gambling. Needing $2 million to invest in Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) cyber project, Billy failed while taking his chances on a high-stakes horse racing bet. Besides losing the monetary means to buy into Kevin’s project, he also put himself in harm’s way.

On Thursday, Billy was confronted by Gill the bookie, who demanded the money he’s owed. Billy said he would pay up the next day, which Gill wouldn’t accept. Billy tried reasoning that he’s an Abbott and he’s always been good for it. However, Gill quickly stated that he’s also never made a bet this high. Billy — relentlessly trying to get out of the situation — tried saying that he needed to get to the wedding.

Shortly after, Billy tried making a run for it, but not before he was confronted by two of Gill’s henchmen. The two men did serious damage to Billy’s face.

Later on, when Noah (Robert Adamson) was pulling out of the garage, he inadvertently backed over Billy, who was still laying on the ground from his beating.

On Thursday, Marisa (Sofia Pernas) seeks the help of Paul (Doug Davidson), who begins an investigation as to who hit Billy. Paul makes his intentions clear to Marisa.

“I want to find the driver who did this to Billy Abbott.”

This puts Marisa in a tough situation, as she may not want to rat out Noah, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.

Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will assume that it’s Billy’s fault for his injuries. On Wednesday’s episode, Jack (Peter Bergman) had no qualms about letting her know about Billy’s latest shortcomings. Just when Billy was about to gain Victoria’s trust back, it appears he’s lost it again. In Monday’s trailer, an emotional Victoria lets out her anger to Jack while Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) looks on.

“Billy is in that room there right now because of the choices that he made. He did this to himself.”

Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that Jill (Jess Walton) won’t be too thrilled to hear that Victoria is through with Billy; especially when she gets winds that the other Abbotts turned on him again.

In Monday’s installment, Jill pleads with Billy to wake up out of his apparent coma.

“I know you hate it when I get all emotional like this, so wake up and tell me to shut up.”
