The situation between Lily and Cane has been anything but kosher lately. Lily —and her past indiscretions — have broken her trust with him. Nonetheless, Cane was the one who saved her from Joe’s (Scott Elroy) jealous aggression. Lily plead with Cane to spend one last holiday season with her and the kids, Joe was hesitant. He ultimately agreed, but wasn’t thrilled.

On Wednesday, Cane appears more open-minded to the idea of a prolonged period of time with his ex.

“I was thinking you know, probably I should come over and stay the night”

A warm Christmas at the Ashbys may be just what Cane needs to experience a change of heart.

Sure Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) has proven himself untrustworthy. However, in Wednesday’s Y&R trailer, the manipulative neurologist seems to show a human side for Ashley (Eileen Davidson), who’s been experiencing head trauma.

While in their new space at Jabot alongside Gwen (Nadine Nicole), Neville witnesses Ashley in pain.

“Ashley? Are you alright?”

Whether it was moving on from Stitch (Sean Carrington) or stepping down as CEO of Jabot, Ashley’s life has changed at a rapid rate. Partnering up with Dr. Neville on his supposed groundbreaking treatment is her current focal point. However, she may be biting more off then she can chew in terms of her health. Could this affect their partnership status moving forward?

Victor Gets Extremely Blunt With Luca

Victor wouldn’t be himself without being firm. Initially, he was a willing participant in Newman Enterprises’ partnership with the Santori Family. However, once Noah (Robert Adamson) ratted out Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) to the FBI, Victor knew it would be bad for business to maintain the relationship.

Victor had offered Luca a large sum of money with interest in order to close the business deal with the corrupt family. Unfortunately, Luca ripped up the check and Victor finds himself stuck with the arrangement.

On Wednesday, Victor becomes more proactive about the situation when he confronts Luca, who’s beside Marisa (Sofia Pernas).

“You’re no longer welcome at Newman Enterprises.”

True to recent form, Luca turns down the declaration.

“The Santoris have a deal.”

This sets Victor off even further.

“I don’t give a damn about the Santoris. I’m talking about my grandson.”
