Love and its inconsistencies were in the air when The Bold and the Beautiful returned on Tuesday with an all-new episode as Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) continued being blamed for Ivy’s (Ashleigh Brewer) staircase fall.

On Monday, Steffy received flak from Liam (Scott Clifton) for her confrontation leading to Ivy’s fall down the stairs. Liam called an ambulance after finding Ivy passed out. Later on, it’s determined that Ivy has no broken bones and would be released earlier than expected. Therefore, she decides to fly back to Australia.
“I’m going home to Australia. That’s exactly what I’m doing.”
During the ordeal, Liam continued lending her a helping hand and neglecting Steffy; buying his own airline ticket to assure that Ivy was okay before she takes off. However, he slips in the lavatory and gets knocked out after hitting his head; this has him en route to Australia. Ivy has “a weepy meltdown” prior to getting on the plane due to her failed relationship with Liam and friction with Steffy.
Meanwhile, Steffy was in Los Angeles and concerned about Liam’s whereabouts. Despite receiving updates, she continued doubting whether she has a commitment to Liam anymore. As she expressed to Wyatt over the phone, she is committed to talking things through.
“I’m gonna stay here until Liam comes home and we’re gonna work it out. Even if it takes all night.”
At Quinn’s insistance, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) offers Steffy support during the emotional trauma.
On Tuesday, Quinn (Rena Sofer) made it very clear to Ivy that she is not a fan of hers; given what she the number she’s played on Wyatt’s heart.
“My being here, concerned about whether you live or die, doesn’t forgive you for how much you hurt my son.”
Throughout the installment, Quinn continued to push Wyatt to pursue Steffy. Wyatt was hesitant at first, but later showed up at Steffy’s place. While he ultimately offered her a friendship. His pursuit — with his mother’s backing — may have just begun.
