Mariah (Camryn Grimes) informs Kevin that Natalie disappeared. Dylan says they have to find her before Victor does.

Natalie (Mara McCaffrey) shows up at Victor’s office to tell him he has the wrong girl. He wants to know who she is and what she knows. Natalie informs Victor that the cyber program didn’t go as planned, but she needs “time to work the bugs out.” Natalie says she doesn’t want to give herself up, but just help.

Jack (Peter Bergman) admits he made the wrong call taking Billy (Jason Thompson) off life support, but Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) are just grateful he’s alive. Jack says he doesn’t know what to say to Billy when he wakes. Billy suddenly speaks, saying “Welcome back?”

Meanwhile, Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) tells Nick (Joshua Morrow) that although she’s not Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) doctor, he should get her one.

Dylan says that three people’s lives — Marisa (Sofia Pernas), Adam and Natalie — at stake is the priority over Kevin’s cyber project.

Natalie insists to Victor that if he does things her way, they can have Adam back, her program, and a new beginning. Victor calls Marisa’s captor, saying there’s a change of plans; Marisa’s released.

Billy says he feels better than Jack looks. He admits he should’ve told him about the Power of Attorney document he had Michael (Christian Jules LeBlanc) draw up. Billy describes his dreams and seeing what everyone was going through. He tells Victoria that Delia (Sophie Pollono) told him to go back and fix things. Victoria believes he will.

Victor sends Natalie — who’s unaware she’s being taken hostage — with Marisa’s captor — to “get her everything she needs.”

Marisa informs Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva), Dylan and Noah that she was let free by Victor. Luca insists that Dylan arrest Victor. Dylan says they must not act on Victor yet until Adam and Natalie are safe.

Victor says “he’s ready” to trade the girl for Marisa. Later, Dylan asks Victor if he put Natalie in the same place that he put Marisa. Victor denies it.

Noah tells Luca that he trusts Dylan with the way he’s approaching Victor. After Luca leaves, Marisa tells Noah that she’s okay with what she went through; having had experience with these things. However, she mentions that Noah — who’s concerned Billy’s going to remember what he did — needs to be better handling his situation.

Dr. Anderson’s informed that “a woman who lost a child” came to the hospital looking for biographical information on her. Dr. Anderson says she knows who it was.

Billy tells Victoria that this is his second chance not to screw up his life, but he no longer wants to screw up hers. He says he sets her free to find someone good for her. Victoria says that “free” is being with him; he’s her “second chance.” She wants him to come home when he’s out of the hospital.

Nick tells Sage that “something’s not right” about Dr. Anderson; she overhears him.

Mariah and Kevin get a message from Natalie — on her laptop — that Victor has her.

Dylan confronts Victor. He says he’s not there to arrest him, but for one purpose: To bring Adam back to safety.
