Twitter is abuzz with the hashtag #ZaynStayStrong in regards to the news that Zayn Malik’s grandmother has passed away. According to an Instagram account that is supposedly owned by Zayn’s younger sister, Waliyha Azad, his grandma has indeed passed away. The Instagram account posted the above photo with this as a caption:
R.I.P to my grandma I love you more than anything in the world my angel. it was so hard to see you struggle the way you have been but I know your in a better place now with my granddad he’ll be so happy to see you after so many years
According to Ace Showbiz, some fans are mistaking Malik’s ex Perrie Edwards’ grandmother as the one who passed away. An example is in the below tweet.
