Abby Lee Miller is facing bankruptcy fraud charges and her legal issues are on display via her reality show Dance Moms. This season, we’ve seen Miller unravel a bit, in fear that she could lose the dance empire she has built over the years. The mothers of her dancers have tried to confront her, but, understandably, Miller avoids the topic. Last week on the show, Miller apparently resigned, but this isn’t the first time Miller has had a meltdown on the show. Is Miller gone for good?
According to multiple sources including OK Magazine, Miller lied about quitting the show. Miller has been reportedly caught filming the show since her “resignation.” Radar Online reports that Miller will return this season and actually was recently filming in Las Vegas. Radar revealed that the courts approved a motion made by Miller on January 20, 2016 to travel from Los Angeles to Vegas on Friday, January 22, 2016 through Monday, January 25, 2016 for work. At the time Sheer Talent was hosting a Special Edition competition there and the competition was publicized with this statement: “Experience a Day with the Cast of Dance Moms Shooting a New Episode for Season Six!”.
Miller is currently preparing for trial as she pled not guilty to 20 counts of fraud, false bankruptcy declarations and concealment of bankruptcy assets this past November. If convicted, she could face up to $5 million in fines and five years in prison.
