David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian – ‘American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson’

David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian

David Schwimmer is part of the all-star cast on new TV series American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson, playing the role of Robert Kardashian. Many know the lawyer today as the late father of Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob, but in the 1990s, he was recognized as part of the dream team defense attorneys in the OJ Simpson murder trial. Kardashian was a friend and confidante of Simpson's prior to the murders of Simpson's ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. He continued to be by his friend's side though it appears he may have had his doubts about OJ's innocence. Kardashian's involvement with the defense caused a rift in his family as his ex-wife Kris Jenner was good friends with victim Nicole. Kardashian's kids referred to OJ as "Uncle OJ" and his ex as "Aunt Nicole." It was a devastating loss for the whole family. In 2003, Kardashian died of esophageal cancer and at the time, he was married to widow Ellen Pierson. This was Kardashian's third wife. Kardashian left behind a fortune of $30 million. Actor David Schwimmer is completely on-point with his portrayal of the attorney as he has the look completely down. Schwimmer made a name for himself as "Ross" on the hit show Friends, acquiring an estimated net worth of $80 million. In 2010, Schwimmer married actress Zoe Buckman and later that year, they welcomed their first baby together, a daughter named Cleo.
