But, she has been going strong with longtime boyfriend Calvin Harris, who is just as famous as she is as one of the richest DJs in the world, with a wealth of $110 million. Both Swift and Harris have won Grammy Awards and there are rumors that the two could be working on a song together. Tonight, Swift is up for seven Grammys and she is reported to be opening the show. But, what most Swifties are hoping to see is Calvin Harris on her arm. Will the two walk the red carpet together? Will Swift win an award and thank Harris in her speech? Recently, Kanye West, who had made up with Taylor Swift a long time ago, apparently waged war again by throwing some shade her way. On Kanye’s new album, he delivered a diss against Swift, but Just Jared says Kanye says Swift okay’ed the lyric. A rep for Swift released this statement in response:
She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bitch famous.’
The controversial lyric is “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous,” and it is from Kanye’s new song “Famous.” Several stars have come to Swift’s defense in the media, from Selena Gomez to Kanye West.
After Kanye’s song was made public, a source tells Hollywood Life that Swift’s boyfriend Harris went to extra lengths to make sure she had a nice Valentine’s Day yesterday. According to the source:
Taylor woke up to over 20 dozen roses being delivered to her. Calvin felt bad about her rough day yesterday with Kanye and so he decided to cheer her up with red roses, lots of them. She is surrounded by so many roses today that she can’t even count them all.
