WATCH: Taylor Swift Disses Kanye West in Grammys Acceptance Speech

On Monday night, Taylor Swift won Album of the Year at the 2016 Grammy Awards for the second time. Recently, Kanye, who had made up with Taylor Swift a long time ago, waged war again by throwing some shade her way. On Kanye’s new album, he delivered a diss against Swift, but Just Jared says Kanye says Swift OK’d the lyric. A rep for Swift released this statement in response:

She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bitch famous.’

The controversial lyric is “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous,” and it is from Kanye’s new song “Famous.” Several stars have come to Swift’s defense in the media.
